The Perpetual Diamond Optical Illusion

 

This optical illusion is a wily one.

Oliver Flynn and Arthur Shapiro created an illusion of continuous motion by changing the contrast of the thin border of the diamond and its background.

You know that the diamond is fixed in place, but your brain keeps telling you that it's moving.
