Extreme Railbiking

Railbiking, whereby one uses a modified bicycle to ride railroad tracks, has been around a long time. The 1908 Sears Catalog featured an attachment for bicycles to allow their use on rail lines. Today's railbikers generally use abandoned rail lines for their excursions, and Lord knows the USA has a lot of those. Join three intrepid railbikers as they explore some pretty rugged country, all to the accompaniment of some pretty good C&W music. Some track is in poor shape, as you will see, and I'm not sure if I would have chanced the sections of track seen beginning at 2:08 and then at 3:02. Talk about having the courage of one's convictions......
