Artist Eats Monochromatic Meals For The Sake of Art

France's most famous performance artist, Sophie Calle, set out each day to create a meal with ingredients of the same hue in the series "The Chromatic Diet." Calle is responding to author Paul Auster’s Leviathan, in which the protagonist (based on Calle) acts out this same eating ritual.

Emma Orlow set out do the same thing in this series from Munchies (Vice.)
