The people of Whoville had finally seen through the Grinch's false reformation and realized he was just biding his time until he could pull off an even bigger heist- so they decided to lock him up for good. But the town jail had bars made out of candy canes and the Florps of Florpville refused to accept a prisoner exchange when it involved a creature as foul and devilish as the Grinch. So the Whos looked to little Cindy Lou for a clue about what to do with that Grinch, and she said "It's a cinch, lock the old buzzard up in a snowglobe and he'll never escape!". They though her plan was great only they didn't calculate in the fact that, being Whos, they naturally acted in a manner way too nice. So against advice the mayor gave the Grinch a Christmas tree for his snowglobe cell to be nice, and the Grinch thanked him warmly while his veins continued pumping pure ice...
