He was the first clothes iron to be given sentience and two pairs of limbs, the first iron to be im-press-ive enough to have ionizing steam cannons installed in his gauntlets and heat jets installed in his boots, and the only iron in existence that actually keeps a constant temperature. But Iron Press Man's story was rife with irony, since his equipment was only really useful for steaming and pressing clothes and thus would never allow him to become the superhero he always wanted to be. However, to the butlers at Stark tower, and all the other appliances he calls friends, IPM is already a superhero, because he fights for the good of laundry everywhere!
