All who enter the realm of Kombat face horrific fatalities at the hands, or tongues as the case may be, of their enemies. Oh yeah, and everyone is everyone else's enemy in the Kombat realm. Why is that realm so violent? Because it's where everyone in Video Game Land goes to settle scores and prove they're more than mere mortals by battling for keeps in the pits. Digital beings don't go to the Kombat realm to act civilized and fight fairly- they go there to take extra lives and humiliate their opponent by reducing their score to zero. So I guess we now know how Yoshi feels about Toad!
