Color Images of New York in the 1940s

Charles W. Cushman took pictures all over America and the rest of the world using Kodachrome film that left us with gorgeous color images that look like they come from a Hollywood film. We’re just not used to seeing those eras in color. Cushion donated 14,500 color slides to Indiana University, which has them in a digital archive.
