A major case of FOMO (fear of missing out) is taking over the Great White North. While Americans are running around at all hours, frantically seeking Pokémon in the augmented reality game Pokémon GO, our neighbors to the north are watching enviously. The app is not available in Canada …yet. Currently in the US, Australia, and New Zealand, the rollout for the rest of the world is on hold while they work out some bugs. Meanwhile, Canadians are doing the best they can, by hand drawing Pokémon on images of places on their phone screens, snapping pictures of plush Pokémon in the wild, and throwing Pokeballs at their pets. Seeing these attempts collected in a list at Buzzfeed is both sad and hilarious.
