There are tons of scarier and (arguably) more powerful movie monsters out there, and yet Godzilla and King Kong endure because they epitomize the beastly basic, a creature that should not be yet smashes cities and kills people anyway.
The two monster kings squared off in the 1962 film King Kong Vs. Godzilla, and might be squaring off again in an upcoming movie by Warner Bros., so the question has come back around- who would win in a fight, Godzilla or King Kong?

Granted, Godzilla is 300 feet tall while King Kong is somewhere between 25 and 148 feet tall, depending on the movie, but I like to think Kong could take down the kaiju king with tenacity and some sort of island virus. But who would you put your money on, King Kong or Godzilla?
