An Interesting Look At Japanese Rebel Biker Culture

Japanese society has loosened up quite a bit in the last few decades, but even when their culture was at its most conservative there were always rebels raging loud and raising hell.

One of the more interesting groups to rebel against the Japanese norm are the bōsōzoku, or speed tribes, who raise hell on the streets with their tricked out bikes and bad attitudes.

Dangerous Minds has put together an interesting look at those badass bōsōzoku, including their early origins and how their members prefer dancing in the street to battling rival gangs these days.
