Medical Student Uses Candy to Illustrate Anatomy

Mike McCormick is a man of both art and science. He's a medical student at Glasgow University. He's learning anatomy and physiology in detail. He's also teaching the public about these topics at the same time. Candy Anatomy is his ongoing project to diagram the workings of the human body using candy. For example, in the above collage, McCormick uses cookies and what appear to be taffy strips to show the flow of waste through the large intestine.

It's "eye candy." Get it?

The human tooth.

The human hand.

Human skin.

A T lymphocyte.
