The latest comic from Doghouse Dairies made me think. I don’t know much about football, but I can see how Sumo wrestling, tag, diving, and staring fit into what they do. Dancing is the part that makes it into internet gifs the next day. I’m not familiar with the game called Monkey in the Middle, but will take their word for it. But chess? Is it because certain players can only move certain ways? Simon Says might need a bit of explanation, too. The quote accompanying this says,
Basically American Football is like a combination of film school … and war.
Now, that makes sense!
Monkey in the Middle is basically a variation of Keep Away. Typically with 3 people. Two people play catch with each other while a 3rd person between them tries to grab the ball.

I understand the "Simon Says" part. There are very specific rules you have to follow, and if you don't follow them to the letter, you lose.
