Monty Python’s Last Show to be Broadcast Around the World

When the five surviving members of Monty Python decided to do a live show together, they had no idea what a big deal it would be. The sole show sold out in 44 seconds! So they added more shows, which quickly sold out. As it turned into a series of shows, it became evident that people want more. So the final performance, on July 20th, will be broadcast to 1500 theaters in the United States, Australia, and several European countries. The show is called The Last Night of Monty Python.

The performance is expected to include some of the group's famous sketches, although we're not yet sure which ones.  "I think you can expect a little comedy, a lot of pathos, some music and a tiny bit of ancient sex," Eric Idle told the UK Press Association.

So far, there isn’t even a list of participating theaters, but you can check with this widget to see if it’s scheduled near you. If you want to find out where it’s scheduled NOT near you, you’re out of luck. -via Daily of the Day
