Come on humans! If we keep going we can make the whole thing grey!

That's not interesting. It's tragic.

Well chickens don't appear on the chart because they're not mammals. Likewise, if the chart included insects it would probably look very different.

It's not really surprising that domesticated animals and humans dominate the chart. Part of the reason we have so much livestock is that we've spent a lot of time and effort figuring out how to raise them more efficiently than in the wild.

I don't quite believe the chart. There is a LOT of land mass in the world and there are a lot of deer, racoons, etc. I suspect this is another case of the nobility factor - Nobility of the cause outweighs the science ever time.

I wonder where rats, mice and other rodents are on that chart.
