Songwriter Woody Guthrie wrote down a list of New Year resolutions in his journal in 1942. They are commonsense rules that I hope he was able to keep. Just a few:
1. Work more and better
3. Wash teeth if any
14. Listen to radio a lot
17. Don't get lonesome
20. Dream good
24. Send Mary and kids money
27. Help win war - beat fascism
31. Love everybody
