A donkey is tied to a rope 10 feet long. Twenty feet away is a field of carrots. How does the donkey get to the carrots?

That 10-foot rope will allow the donkey to make it just to the edge of the field and he still won't get any carrots. Your answer would be great if the field were 15 feet away.

How clever! I hate clever. Actually, I came up with the same scenario as bluesfella, but then I was thinking that you actually don't tie a donkey to a rope. You tie a rope to a donkey. Donkeys are very stubborn and very difficult to tie into any shape, really. Talk about clever...

The Donkey is tied to a ten ft rope.. That doesn't mean the other end of the rope is tied to something. Basically the Donkey can walk all the way down the road to the appletrees. Now how he gets an apple from such heights... THAT'S the real question
