It was a brutal, grueling production. Director Paul Rudd was obsessed with his goal of recreating, shot for shot, the opening sequence of the 1980s television show Simon & Simon. It went way over the $25 million budget for the project and took months to complete. There was even an on-set fatility. But thanks to the perseverance of actors Jon Hamm as Rick Simon and Adam Scott as A.J. Simon, we can now watch this, the greatest event in the history of television.
