Restaurant Delivers Dirty Cookware to Help You Pretend You Cooked

Countless of people who can't cook have been busted for trying to pass a restaurant-delivered meal for home-cooked meals. The tell-tale sign? No dirty pots and pans.

Well, no more. UK food delivery company Housebites is there to help: for an extra £5, it will also deliver dirty cookware to help you pretend that you cooked the meal!

The assumption being you have no pots and pans of your own to wash up and leave in the dish rack for that 'clean-as-you-go' look of a competent cook? For the aroma, you could just microwave and take the lid off the dishes.

Seems to me like getting rid of the tattletale take-out boxes, and fielding questions about the recipe and cooking methods would be a little more challenging than staging.

Wouldn't it be easier to just not try to pass off restaurant food as homemade? I've used a home waiter service before for home parties and had no problem letting people know I catered in. This was good enough for the people I would want to spend time with.
