Leonard McCoy, Julian Bashir and the Emergency Medical Holographic program from Star Trek are doctors. They are not many, many things. This video lists all of those disclaimed occupations.

Man, Voyager was just trying too hard.

Nice that there's no Crusher in there. TNG didn't lean on crutches as hard as the other series.

This is excellent. Missing Karl Urban's McCoy from the Abrams movie, though, whose "I'm a doctor, not a physicist" I remember getting big laughs in the theater.

Not a coal miner, door stop, engineer, and so forth, but I didn't hear blogger on the list of mutually exclusive professions . . . would any of these guys have blogged? The holographic guy, while he would have had hilarious observations, wouldn't do it, and I don't see McCoy having the disposition for it, but maybe Bashir?
