This Serbian Textbook Is Raising Arizona

Why are Nic Cage, Holly Hunter and the baby from the 1987 movie Raising Arizona on the cover of this Serbian biology textbook? Your guess is as good as mine, but I'd be willing to bet this image wasn't used with the studio's permission!

This was back in 90ies. The book is now out of curriculum. Still someone remembered it couple days ago and posted it on FB. It has been making rounds on Serbian internet last few days.

I had that book, I didn't even notice it till now x)lol It came out after NATO bombarded Serbia, so I don't think it is such a big deal taking what happened a year earlier and I guess the stress took its toll on the designer creativity.

Strange indeed, on a biology text, because these fictional characters did not produce the child "biologically" in the story.

I loved that movie.
