Coastal Erosion in Cornwall

(YouTube link)

From what we've seen in the past few years, Americans may get the idea that everything in Britain is captured on CCTV, but it's still astonishing that this rock slide was caught on video. The footage was taken of a cliff on the North Coast of Cornwall in September 23rd. The person taking the video had noticed a few small rock falls before the entire cliff face gave way.-via the Presurfer

Yikes and it looks like there are some people on top walking towards the fall. Must be an illusion because I'd think they'd run in the other direction.

erm, ... I can only see the lowrez one here, and it's probably just an optical illusion,

but it looks like there were people ON that face when it went and only 2 of them may have made it-ish.

Centuries of tin and coal mining has left a lot of Kernow (the real name for Cornwall) like a swiss cheese.

Periodically things just collapse.
