This video, allegedly of a Chinese-made SUV in Russia, shows a driver who is either very brave or very desperate. Also a testament to Chinese design quality. I mean, even the tail lights still work just fine.
The dmaged vehicle is a ute or utility truck, not a "soft roader" SUV which has unibody construction. The body plays no structural role, it's bolted to the frame of the vehicle which has all the drive-train and steering mechanism. So I would expect it to be driveable if the frame wasn't damaged by whatever squished the cabin.
Shows ya what good duct tape can do. But I'm wondering if the suv crashed while the driver was doing something stupid like, say, videotaping while driving?
Toyota 4Runner and no matter how you look at it the frame is bent also but hey it only cost him 20 bucks and it still drives. I'm sure the Chinese would like to claim it but sorry its Japanese.

Remember - lead is one of the most malleable metals there is.
And, it actually looks like a Toyota 4Runner which if it is, wouldn't surprise me. They're very durable!
That truck in the video sure does look like a 4Runner. Must be a Great Wall Safe.
