Well, to be fair, comics characters and Star Trek have collided in the past, often with bizarre results. I'm not quite sure why they haven't quite clicked in the past, other than that great catchall that explains away most of the "seemed-like-a-good-idea-at-the-time' pop culture atrocities:it was the '90s.
Comics and Star Trek should be two great tastes that taste great together, and in that spirit the folks at Comics Should Be Good issued a challenge to their artistically inclined readers: draw us some comics/Star Trek team-ups! The results, this time around, were fairly awesome.
