Ephemicropolis, a City of Staples

Artist Peter Root created a work of art called "Ephemicropolis 2010" in which he used 100,000 staples to create a giant cityscape. The project took 40 hours to put together (and much longer to plan), but you can see a stop-motion video of the process at Root's site.
