What better for a Labor Day cookout than a steak in the shapes of the USA? Philadelphia artist Dominic Episcopo took photographs of states that look good enough to grill. Link -via the Presurfer
You realize Labour Day was first a Canadian holiday? Nothing particularly American about Labour Day, especially given the general animosity towards Labour and trade unionism in America.
I too carry useless trivia in my back pocket to rain on other peoples' parades but...come on...labor day? It's just a day off near the end of summer. No one cares from whence it came or why. If you're going to pick on something, at least pick on the apathetic nature of Memorial Day or the commercialization of Christmas. :)
My entire day has been made just seeing that steak shaped like Texas. Seriously. Now I know EXACTLY what I want for my birthday! And it should be grilled over mesquite. Lots of it.
Strange...
A little history.
