Googly Eyes Around Town

If you notice googly eyes stuck strategically on a drainpipe or trash can or fire hydrant in New York City, chances are they were placed there by the tagger team known as Googly Eye Crew, who go by the names of Bloodshot and Glockoma.

They don't have a website but you can find some of their work on Flickr, brightening up the urban landscape. - via Dinosaurs and Robots

they took those eyes off that pipe! or re-painted i guess, but i was so sad because it always made me chuckle on my walk home from the gym. i wish there was a way to let them know to put them up again!

I love me some googly eyes! I love them so much I made a IPhone app where you can add googly eyes to any picture! It's so much fun. Thought maybe you would like to check it out http://bit.ly/8cYcKw

In no way am I affiliated with the Googly Eye Crew. However, I can attest that they are also in Philly, Seattle, and Chicago.

These eyes have been going up for at least 4 years.
