GPS Elephant Drawing

Jeremy Wood of GPS Drawing has a large canvas: the world. He uses Global Positioning System (GPS) technology to record and render his movement into a drawing on a map.

I'm particularly fond of this 11.2 km (about 7 mi.) long GPS elephant in the streets of Brighton and Hove, UK: Link - via Forum, original post by lilrawker

I was born right in front of the elephant's eyes and spent most of my formative years between the trunk and the seafront. My first home in Britain was at the tip of the rear toes, and my school slightly north at his knee. I must have walked the promenade between his feet a thousand times as a kid, and I used to play tennis in his ear in the summer. I almost miss the place now.
