Cartoon Bomb Tissue Roll Cover

This "100 Tons Bomb" tissue roll cover looks like it came straight out of the ACME catalog.

But don't let Wile E. Coyote light the "fuse", you may need the tissue to wipe tears from your eyes after spending $29 on this puppy!

It seems that the makers of this item confused two cartoon cliches: the heavy anvil or weight (dropped from above) and the cartoon bomb. Why would the bomb be labeled with a specific weight? They usually say "BOMB" or "TNT" or something. Cute idea, but kind of screwed execution.

my thoughts exactly tombomb, I was just going to make the same comment myself.
Should definitly have bomb on it, but then in these modern times someone would object.

thirded on that.

It's like a metareference, or what my other refers to as a "senior moment".

Where related memories get shunted inot one approximaition.

I don't think the creators of that are confused. I'm not sure they were going for the Acme look ... that was just Alex's take on it. 100 ton bombs exist (http://www.collegehumor.com/video:1763156).
