Boue's Big Day

(Flickr link)

If you've ever wondered what your dog does while you are at work, this may enlighten you. Flickr user Bill Binns made a video of what his dog did from 8AM to 5PM. Relax, the time-lapse video is only about a minute long. Now I know the meaning of the phrase "It's a dog's life"! -via Unique Daily

i just feel so awful when i walk by someone's house and see a dog tied up all day in the yard, alone. i just want to untie them and take them on a walk with me! this is also why i can't go to animal shelters because i would leave with about 50 critters

I really don't find it all that sad.

My 3 dogs are stuck in the house all day while I'm at work, they have free reign, and all the toys they could want. I take them for walks when I get home. Hell even if I am home all they do is sleep anyway. Dogs sleep like 18 hours a day, its typical.

anywhos, this was cute

hey i thought he said he was at work. I saw that milisecond of you, you LIAR!

This is what my cat does all day, she's a little more creative though, sporadically getting up to move to another more suitable place. And occasionally killing things.

I own a greyhound. All greyhound owners will attest that yes, they are in fact the laziest dogs EVARRRR! They're nicknamed "45 mph couch potatoes" for a reason. I swear, whether I take King for a walk or not, all day long all he does is lay around. He is active in my backyard for about two minutes, then he even lays down out there and knocks out. Other people's dogs amaze me at how active they are. Mine, and most other greyhounds I know, take retirement very seriously.
