Best Friends Forever

There is nothing more touching than a picture of two of the cutest baby animals in nature living it up together. Two baby tigers and two baby orangutans both abandoned have become the best of friends at an Indonesian Zoo!

“The four have lived side-by-side for a month without a single act of hostility,” said zookeeper Sri Suwarni.

However, it would be foolish of us to think that they will stay as friends forever since as they mature their natural instincts will begin to kick in. Either way, we can still enjoy the idea of two different creatures as infants living with one another with not a care in the World. Of course, we mustn't forget that even though those cuddly bundles of fur are cute - and so adorable - their species may not survive for very long without conservation efforts.

Conservationists estimate there are fewer than 700 Sumatran tigers still alive, while fewer than 60,000 orangutans remain in the wild.

So, here is to hoping that in the future we'll be able to enjoy such pictures again and again. :)
