Is 'truss' even in the vernacular anymore?

Most (young) people will be scratching their heads wondering how 'A-frame' fits.

My officemate suggested it was a 'wooden triangle'.

I'm 31 and I got truss off the bat. I don't think it's that obscure.

I think "Trustees' room" is probably referring to a room for meetings of a corporation's Board of Trustees.
