A driver from a distance will see a police car hiding behing a billboard, as the police typically do in Turkey/ thus the driver instinctively slow down or make sure that they are going at the legal speed limit. When they come closer they are able to read the billboard text:

However just as they pass the billboard they will realize that there really isn’t a police car hiding there. That actually is a full size reproduction of a police car which is a part of the billboard.
Then of course, the next time the cops need a fundraiser they "replace" the fake cop car...

Nice ad, but about a decade ago in Turkey, same 2D fake cop cars were used for just fooling drivers and slow down, not for ad purposes.

The Los Angeles police department should think about using these. They would probably be just as effective as the real cops in this town. They should make them SWAT vans and armored personnel carriers though.
