I don’t understand the sales pitch. I do not understand the title of this video, or the comments. But I would buy this product! Hit play or go to YouTube. -via Bits and Pieces
Title suggestion: Swiss Army Basket. (Thanks, Denita!)
I have several of those. The first I saw was being sold by street vendors outside the Louvre in Paris in the early '80s. Someone told me that they are Indian puzzles, although there really isn't anything puzzling to figure it about them. Just fun to play with. Here's one for sale: http://www.retrotoys.com/NoveltyToys/FlexiSphere.htm.
That would be great for camping trips. You could use it to hold eggs or fruit or nuts, or line it with a cloth and stash some sandwiches in it. And then, if you fold it just right, you could even use it to roast things over a fire, or perhaps use it as a colander or a strainer.
I bet that it would even make a great crab trap, in a pinch. Just tie a line to the handles and stick some bait inside it.
I used to have one of these when I was a kid, but it was much smaller and didn't make nearly as many things. I would definitely love that one, though. Oh the possibilities!
