I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that ate their mom's supply of these things. I thought they were caramels. They were definitely around until the AIDS epidemic. I always wondered why they just didn't change the name.

A few months back, I saw an ad for Ayds products in a very old magazine and asked my mom about them - she said they actually worked well (for her at least), and were pretty popular until everyone found out about AIDS, then you couldn't give the stuff away.

Yeah, these were out in the 60s. I think the product did OK up until the AIDS era. But it didn't work! I also got into my mom's stash.

My mother used to buy this- and my sister and I would EAT them like candy! She kept them, in all places, in the cookie cabinet and we would devour them! And, it didn't work!
