Ok, I admit that the banjo is silly. But I think its kinda cool. The ring is made of 5 plies of maple. The neck is mahogany with Bolivian rosewood on the fingerboard, head plate, and heel plate. The head is goatskin held on by about 70 upholstery tacks. Here is a sound sample.
Hot dog! Boy, you went and done it now. What a fine old timey sound you got there. How big is the head? Is is fretless or did you put frets in the fingerboard. Nice work, and a great sound. Keep at it. It sounds better than most of the commercial brands out there today. Good luck.
