Sadly 1983's crowded shopping experience at Edgewater Mall looks like today's everyday shopping experience due mostly to the increase in population in the area. Really not sure how bad Black Friday gets there as I adamantly avoid going near the mall on this day.
"I hope the new Star Wars movies aren't as bad as the last ones were." That sentence wouldn't just seem illogical 20 years ago but would actually sound blasphemous to any real Star Wars fan before the prequels came out.
Because they wanted the ironic impossibility of a sub surfacing in the middle of a city that's nowhere near water rather than in one where the "streets" are actually composed of water. It's a commentary on the fact that you get insurance to deal with the unexpected and really, what's more unexpected than that?
You left off the rather deadly variant featured in the Doctor Who episode Closing Time. As pieces are moved, they acquire an electrical charge. So if your game is too dependent on any one piece (i.e. the queen) you'll reach a point where you can move that piece, you really need to move that piece, but doing so will kill you. LOL
