Modern 1920s-Style Swimsuits Perfect For Any Body

Swimsuits have gotten a whole lot skimpier and sexier since the 1920s, but the variety of styles and cuts available have also increased, so beachgoers can choose to go with a modest one piece or a suit that leaves little to the imagination and still look stylish.

And now the swimsuit has officially gone full circle with the release of the genderless swimsuits with a decidedly 20s vibe released by the Portland, Oregon based company Beefcake Swimwear.

Owner Mel Wells is a self-professed tomboy who wanted to create a swimsuit that both men and women could wear to the beach without looking like a loon, and after a successful Kickstarter campaign by jove she's done it!

Her "Beefcakes" are stylish yet functional, and as she told PopSugar they help beachgoers avoid body shaming too:

"If you look at old photos of people on the beach, [body shame] didn't used to be a part of our culture," she said. "The main excitement [I've heard from people is] 'I've been looking for a swimsuit like this for years.' . . . I think a lot of people are looking for swimwear that is more function than fashion, but not ugly. A lot of performance swimwear is not very fashionable — it's all about performance. And I think there's a lot of people who want something kind of in between."

Top 10 Villains In Netflix Shows

Netflix is killing it when it comes to creating cool original content and backing projects worth backing, and their original series' like Stranger Things, Jessica Jones and Orange Is The New Black became fan favorites as soon as they were released.

These series feature compelling storylines, complex characters and exciting Mature-rated content the networks would never touch, and at the core of each story are heroes and villains who keep fans hungry to see more.

This WatchMojo video focuses on the villains from Netflix's most popular series, featuring my favorite of the bunch at #2- David Tennant as Kilgrave in Jessica Jones

Hide And Seek Games - Go Out And Find Him, If You Dare...

Hide and Seek Games by JRBERGER

Many kids claim to be Hide and Seek champions but their claim is only supported by a few years of playground competitions, which is why they can't hold a torch to Bigfoot's title- because he's been the Hide and Seek champ since 1967. His title may go back even further than that, but nobody thought to look for him before he became a cryptozoological legend back in the 60s, and since then he has remained hidden no matter how many people seek him out. In fact, it's possible he'll hang on to his title for decades, if not centuries, to come!

Get dressed for some hair-raising adventure with this Hide And Seek Games t-shirt by JRBERGER, it's a hilarious way to show love for America's favorite cryptid hero Bigfoot!

How To Cook A Bowl Of Noodles At Your Desk

Workers sometimes find it hard to leave their desks and eat lunch, so they have to come up with clever ways to fix themselves a meal at their workstation without pissing off the boss or burning down the office building.

But instead of buying a tiny microwave or using warm sink water to make noodles food vlogger Xiao Ye, aka Miss Yeah, came up with the most clever desktop cooking hack I've ever seen, turning Pepsi cans and some rubbing alcohol into a mini stove.

She then cooked up a bowl of bean sauce noodles using one very, very long noodle, some fresh veg she stole from the company fridge and some other ingredients she just happened to have in her desk.

Something tells me she cooks at her desk a lot...

Pastry Chef Attempts To Make Gourmet Cheetos

Cheetos are far from gourmet food products, and yet cheesy crackers and cheese platters can be quite fancy so maybe the only thing holding Cheetos back from being considered fancy foods is a gourmet makeover.

With better ingredients and lots of experience creating gourmet versions of favorite snack foods Bon Appétit's Claire Saffitz definitely had what it takes to create a Cheeto for the sophisticated foodie. And her gourmet Cheetos look more delicious than the original!

5 Ways To Quit A Bad Habit

Bad habits are often hard to break because they really seem like they bring us some sort of pleasure, and whether physical or mental we start to miss that little habit when it's gone.

Missing the feeling of that cig in-between your fingers, that ritual of lighting, inhaling and snubbing out is a big part of what makes it so hard for smokers to quit, well, that and the highly addictive chemicals added to cigarettes to increase their nicotine levels.

As this comic by Jacob Andrews shows us those chemicals make you want to come back from the dead for a smoke!

Here Are Designs From My 25 Most Favoritest NeatoShop Artists

Golden Believer by Hillary White

I've been doing promotion for the NeatoShop for about four years now and created promo posts for hundreds of artists to showcase their awesome artwork available to print on demand on all kinds of shirts in the NeatoShop.

In that time I've seen all kinds of designs come through the shop, good great and otherwise, and some of the designs these artists create just speak to me.

These 25 NeatoShop artists in particular, presented in no particular order, make the kind of designs I want to wear on my chest, the kind of designs that make me happy and define what it means to be a great t-shirt designer.

So let's start the list with the gal so nice she's included twice- Hillary White. Hillary's radical retro designs are so frickin' silly and funny and amazing looking I've been in love with her artwork from the very beginning

Little Thing

They say it's the little things in life that count and the little things that truly make us happy, but I'm pretty sure they didn't mean the word "things" to be taken literally.

However, the little thing in this animated short Little Thing presented by DUST made me happy for some strange reason, and it definitely wanted its existence to count even though the world seemed unaware of its existence. Anyway, enjoy this strange little sci-fi show!

Dark Realities That Reality TV Shows Don't Want You To Know About

In my opinion reality TV is one of the worst things to ever happen to television, because it panders to those who like to watch people at their worst and encourages people to act like total jerks while on camera.

But the worst part about the reality TV takeover is the fact that it's ruining people's lives like no fictional show ever could, ruining their reputation to the point where some feel like suicide is the only solution.

And when these shows don't indirectly ruin lives by ruining reputations they literally cost people their lives by emboldening the people on camera to make risky moves, as was the case when a COPS crewmember lost his life when officers opened fire on a suspect with a toy gun:

Physics Gives Me A Hadron - Scientifically Formulated To Make People LOL

Physics Gives Me A Hadron Funny Science by happinessinatee

Physicists aren't exactly the life of the party, but they do have some pretty good scientifical jokes to tell if you ask 'em when they've had a few- and they're chock full of physics guaranteed to keep you rollin' (your eyes) all night long. Some of their material may come off as a bit blue or edgy, but what is life without a little bawdiness and raunchy humor, right?

Show the world that scientists can be as funny as the less scientifically minded with this Physics Gives Me A Hadron Funny Science t-shirt by Happinessinatee, it's one simply funny design you don't have to be a genius to appreciate!

Don't Run With Scissors - This Rule Applies To Finger Claws Too

Don't run with scissors by Anna-Maria Jung

Their movies depict them as dangerous fellows who use the claws on their hands to slice, slash and kill their foes, but nobody knows how often their hand claws land them in the ER because that doesn't make for good movies. The truth is Freddy, Logan and Edward spend at least a few days a week being patched up by ER docs after they accidentally slash themselves while getting dressed, cut themselves while shaving, or trip and fall on their claws while running around. It's like they've never heard the old warning about running around with scissors!

Add a shirt with geeky humor that's a cut above the rest to your wardrobe by bringing home this Don't Run With Scissors t-shirt by Anna-Maria Jung, it's one bloody funny design!

Existential Crisis

Bullet Bill ain't necessarily a bad bloke, but like all bullets he was made to kill, maim and destroy- so love will remain forever out of reach of his stubbly little arms.

So Bill launches himself into his work, flying back and forth across the level in hopes of making a connection and feeling that certain spark that will lead to explosive revelation.

But, as this Shmorlock Comics strip shows, Bill will never find true love, nor will he ever discover his true reason for being, because he's just an extra in a video game about Mario's life.

This Is The Weirdest Mayonnaise-Based Video Ever Made

Have you ever watched a video online and wondered "why the f%$k did somebody make this f$%king video? LIKE SERIOUSLY WTF?!?!?!" Yeah, of course you have.

We've all come across a video at one time or another which has left us completely puzzled and wondering why someone would make such a thing, let alone upload it to YouTube, and most of these videos are presented without explanation.

But this bizarre and disgusting video by Joe Philippus was actually created with a purpose in mind- to gross out his buddy:

One of my best friends has a completely irrational fear of mayonnaise. I was bored one afternoon while my wife was at work, so I decided to make him a tribute video.

You filmed it for your buddy, eh Joe? Yeah right, YOU KNOW YOU LIKED IT!

Nunchaku Dad Is My New Hero

It's cute to watch kids try to bust some sick moves with their first pair of nunchucks, that is, until they smack themselves in the face with 'em, but it's somehow even cuter to watch this dad mess around with nunchakus like a big kid.

He keeps trying to do some fancy move where he kicks the 'chucks up into his hands so he can be ready for battle without bending over, and once he manages to pull off the move he unleashes nunchaku fury like a Ninja Turtle on steroids.

Stars You Forgot Were Cast As Cowboys In Movies And TV Shows

When you think about classic TV and movie cowboys do you think Clint Eastwood, John Wayne and Charles Bronson instead of Bob Dylan, Bob Denver and Sammy Davis Jr.?

Yeah, so does everybody else, but both Bobs and Sammy were in old school westerns too, they're just not as well known for their portrayals of cowpokes as those gritty Western icons.

(Image Link)

Sammy Davis Jr. was absolutely great as the gunslinger Tip Corey in the 1962 episode of The Gunslinger entitled Two Ounces Of Tin, playing a character with personality, depth and true grit.

Bob Dylan made in appearance in the 1973 film Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid as Alias, a badass stranger who helps Billy escape from three thugs. Dylan also composed the score for the film, which earned him a Grammy nomination.

But of the three, Bob Denver got to play cowboy the longest, since he starred alongside Forrest Tucker in the Sherwood and Elroy Schwartz series Dusty's Trail for 26 episodes back in 1973-74.
