Watch An Eagle Take Out A Drone In Midair

We may not have enough drone regulations in place here in the U.S., but it appears air traffic over Australia is now being regulated by animal kingdom royalty.

(YouTube Link)

This brief but eventful video was shot by Melbourne Aerial Video, who wants to assure everyone that the eagle wasn’t harmed in the making of this video:

"Eagle was fine — she was massive, and used talon's to 'punch' the drone out of the sky. Hung around overhead so I got a really good look," the video's description states. "Eagle's health was my main concern also."

And they have these wise words for future drone pilots:

"Do not fly drones near birds of prey, they clearly attack seeing you as a threat or the right sized dinner. This will cost you money and potentially harm to the bird. This one was fine ... the drone needed some attention before it could fly again."

Gamma Noodles by Biticol

Cap got all suited up and went to grab his shield when he noticed it wasn't hanging on the wall where it belongs. "Who in the world would dare steal Captain America's shield?" he thought, referring to himself in the third person as always. He was set to wake the rest of the Avengers when he heard a slurping sound coming from downstairs, a sound that made Cap think that fiend Venom had snuck into the building again. But as he walked into the kitchen he saw the big, green Hulk who had snagged his shield to use it as a bowl for ramen...

Clever Girl - Dinosaurs Can Be Cheeky Too!

Clever Girl by Hugohugo

Owen always knew his trained velociraptors were smart, but Blue was starting to act a bit cheeky! He watched her in the yard every day, and where she used to jump and wrestle she now pranked and tricked her sisters. Nobody could explain this change of tone in Blue, but Owen was starting to like this side of her, mainly because he liked seeing that sparkle in her copper colored eyes again. Ever since science brought those raptors into the modern world they've been feared and misunderstood, but it looks like Blue is going to change the way we think about those terrible lizards!

Failed Toy Lines From The 1980s

The 80s were a heyday for licensed toys, and kids were finally able to actually have some action with their action figures.

Toy series that featured some kind of fighting element were generally the most popular, so companies released many different kinds of combat-ready characters in order to cash in on the trend.

But one group of fighters failed to make kids hungry enough to collect them all- The Food Fighters, a delicious idea that kids just couldn’t stomach.

And then there were those brash toy lines that dared to come out without their own cartoon series, which caused kids to wonder "Who the heck does this Crystar, Crystal Warrior think he is, He-Man or sumpin'?!"

Alf Solo and Friend by Alberto83aj

People are always debating whether Han shot first or not, but Han's only the star of the show because some sleazy Hutt wrote him into the story. Be Evil Today! - Dwarves And Fairy Godmothers Need Not Apply

Be Evil Today! by Oneskillwonder

The most maleficently villainous members of animated society banded together to form a new kingdom free of do-gooders and hoaky heroes. Their dark kingdom would be ruled by fear and dark magic, which didn't really appeal to people much so they were having a hard time recruiting subjects. Cruella came up with a perfectly wicked promotional idea- create propaganda posters that appeal to people's dark side. Soon monsters, fiends and ne'er-do-wells from all different animated lands were heading to this unhappy land, evil minions who would soon find themselves subjugated by not one but four evil queens...

Spread the word about the land of the wicked with this Be Evil Today! t-shirt by Oneskillwonder, it's a surefire way to show allegiance to those animated villains we know and loathe!

The Incredible Wildlife Sketches Created By Lewis & Clark

Lewis and Clark discovered all kinds of things on their journey across America- the giant Pacific Ocean that even the native people hadn’t noticed before, the very first McDonald’s location, and about $.75 in change that had fallen out of some guy’s pocket.

But they went on their Expedition to do more than discover stuff, and one of their most important jobs was to sketch the wildlife they saw along the way.

Now, for the first time possibly ever (but probably not the first time) the wildlife sketches Lewis and Clark drew during that fateful journey can be seen on an informational website called Clickhole.

It’s too bad the mighty butt chinned beaver is now extinct, but people needed stands for their cigars so it was bye bye beaver and hello butt chin cigar stands!

The Greatest Political Campaign Ad Ever Made

Politics are rarely entertaining in a laugh out loud kind of way, but politicians who at least try to bring the funny are generally better received by the public.

The people behind the politicos know this, so they try to incorporate entertaining elements into their campaigns like fun slogans or, in Hillary Clinton’s case, selling a beer koozie with the slogan “More like Chillary Clinton, amirite?” printed on the side.

(YouTube Link)

Sometimes these attempts to be humorous can backfire, but in the case of Canadian politician Wyatt Scott his comedic campaign video should result in a landslide victory, especially if his opponents are dragons.

The Pulpy Brunch - One Royale With Cheese Away From A Happy Meal

The Pulpy Brunch by Donovan Alex

Here's a story that's kinda gory, about a bunch of hoodlums looking for a score, they proved all's fair in love and fiction, and left us wanting more. Here's a story about a man named Jimmie who clearly has pulp where his brains should be, he helped Vincent and Jules dump a body and did so sarcastically. Here's the story of a guy named Butch who got caught up in some underworld affairs, he used a samurai sword to slice his way to freedom and became part of the Pulpy Brunch. That's the bloody, strange and scary way they all became the Pulpy Brunch!

An Interactive Quiz To Help Determine Your Cat's Personality Type

Many cats have bold, vibrant personalities, and just because a cat isn’t interested in playing or entertaining their humans doesn’t mean they don’t dish out cattitude on a daily basis.

But the internet generation demands classifications for everything, so see if you can sit your cat down in front of your computer and have them take a fun, interactive quiz.

The Intercative Experiment by Poopy Cat will help you determine whether your cat is a poser, a busy bee or a cuddle bug, thereby bringing you one step closer to answering that age old question- what the heck is my cat thinking?!

Photographer Captures The Dark Side Of Eating Contests

Eating contests are an American tradition with roots in county fairs and harvest festivals, but the sponsored, no-holds-barred food spectacles we see today all started with Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest.

Now there's no foodstuff which is off limits, and contestants stuff their faces for fat stacks of cash and international acclaim.

But at the root of every eating contest is a ravenous urge known as gluttony, and this "ferocity of consumption” is the core theme behind Nina Berman’s documentary series “Eat To Win”.

The images are captured at just the right moment, the contestants' faces frozen in horrifying expressions as the desire to win drives them to devour more than their neighbors.

Nina’s series presents an interesting counterpoint to the “eating contests are fun and funny to watch” view typically presented by the media.

Documentary About The Real Life Gangs That Inspired The Warriors

There were a lot of far out gangs in Walter Hill’s dystopian thriller The Warriors, but most of them were nothing but imaginative flights of gangland fancy and never truly existed on the mean streets of New York.

However, The Warriors themselves, as well as the Turnbull ACs, The Rogues and a few of the less gimmicky crews, are based on real life NY gangs from the 60s and 70s.

These “neighborhood clubs” are the focus of the 1993 documentary Flyin’ Cut Sleeves, an in-depth look at the gangs that ruled New York City which you can watch in full on YouTube:

(YouTube Link)

It’s a stone groove that'll take you back to the days when the boppers ruled the Bronx, and every club in town was cuttin’ off their sleeves to show their love for the street life. Can you dig it?
