Willow Shields, a/k/a Primrose Everdeen, gave an interview in which she revealed a number of on-and-off-set "secrets" of her fellow Hunger Games cast members. Who is most likely to initiate a hangout after work? Who is most often late to the set and who takes the longest to get ready? Shields answers sisxteen questions of that nature here.

When a plane disappears it’s considered a big deal, whether it’s a passenger plane full of people or a small plane with a party of two, but large aircraft disappearances are given the most attention.

A large aircraft is defined as a “plane carrying more than 14 people” and since 1948 80+ large aircraft have gone missing, eleven of which have gone missing since 2005.

The Bloomberg Visual Data team created this interactive map, which reveals the 83 large aircraft that were declared missing since 1948, during the search for Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 in 2014.

It's interesting to note that only a few of the crashes happened inland, and Australia seems to have remained crash free.

According to YouTube user Shannen Hussein, she was feeding the lizards in "their enclosure" when one overzealous lizard jumped on the back of Maisy the orphaned lamb, and the duo made a break for it like a couple of outlaws. While it's not clear what sort of facility they are escaping from, I can only wish these two rebels luck... or at least a temporary sense of fun adventure. Via Arbroath

The world recently lost a video game legend, a man responsible for giving us such beloved franchises as Super Smash Bros. and Kirby, Nintendo’s mythical mastermind Satoru Iwata.

Satoru helped bring Nintendo back from the brink of destruction with both the Nintendo DS and the Wii console, and his legacy at the gaming company he loved like family will never be forgotten.

But Satoru’s creations didn’t just make the world a better place for gamers, his works inspired artists of all kinds to follow their hearts and chase their dreams no matter how lofty. Rest in peace, Satoru, and thanks for all the gaming goodness!

J-Pop comes in many flavors, from hip hop to dance music to heavy metal, but they all seem to have one thing in common- the themes they choose for their songs are often quite bizarre.

Some choose to sing about cute things dying, or fart exercises, but the totally hip and happenin' group Ladybaby have chosen to sing about pastries? in their latest track “Nippon Manju”.

This colorful "Kawaiicore" group is headed by a cross dressing bearded guy from Australia, who has been described as the “Bizarro Andrew W.K.”

Cinema enthusiasts have no doubt read one or more accounts of what it was like for a partcular actor to film a sex scene in a project on which they worked. Most of the time, the standard answer is that filming sex scenes is awkward, uncomfortable and not in the least bit sexy. Yet occasionally, an actor will tell another story: one in which they found the experience arousing and enjoyed it. Which is the truth? Likely all of the above. It depends on the chemistry between the actors, who is allowed on set while the scene is being filmed, the style of the director and a number of other extraneous factors.

Thieves of Tower is the creative duo of Houston Patton and Dagny Fox. Together, they make innovative tattoos that spread across both legs of their subjects. This is really thoughtful because it uses the body as not just a surface for inking, but also as a form to contribute to the design. Together, the paired legs form complete scenes.

David Sikorski and his burrito, a carne asada from Taqueria La Cumbre, are truly made for each other.

That's the official story. But the truth is that Sikorski saw his Facebook friends posting relationship milestones and grew anxious. When was his special someone going to come along? His solution was to ask Kristina Bakrevski, a friend and professional photographer, to show Sikorski and his favorite burrito in tender, romantic moments. NASA's New Horizons probe is revealing pictures of the most distant planet in our solar system with unprecedented resolution. Many people are seeing other images in the scarred surface of the planet. You can find an excellent list of them at BuzzFeed.

But I think that Rob Beschizza and Heather Johanssen of Boing Boing have discovered the most truly startling find: the Disney character Pluto (for whom the planet was named, as that company owns it) appears in the surface of Pluto. I'm deeply impressed with Disney's imagineering here.

Internet prankster Obvious Plant adds helpful signs and labels in public places, often in stores that are unaware of his helpful contributions. In the past, he's added fanciful descriptions at a pet store and realistic section makers at a bookstore. Now he's contributing to sales at a grocery store by adding tips for shoppers. Rubbing up against other customers sounds like a great idea. I'm going to try that report back on the results.
