I was never too concerned about storage space and space savers until suddenly, in 2009, I remarried and had a family of six people living in a little two-bedroom house. Then it became an obsession. Not only were there too many people for the house, but we also had two households worth of possessions, and I bought tons of groceries to feed all those kids. Years later, the house is twice as big, and the kids are moving out one by one, but I'm still fascinated by space-saving tips. I look at them and think about how cool those built-in treats will be to buyers when we sell this house!
We got eight inches of snow yesterday. My husband is from southern California. He says he loves snow, but meanwhile he tries to keeps the house warm enough to wear shorts and bare feet inside. It's seven degrees outside, so our heating bills are enormous.
I read One Fish Two Fish over a hundred times. Probably Green Eggs and Ham almost as many. But I've probably read A Fish Out of Water more than 200 times. My youngest loved that one.
