Hide Your Conditioner Like A Pro -Literally

Central air conditioning is pretty much amazing -but the compressor units are one of the biggest eyesores on the backside of your house. That's why, over at Homes and Hues, we compiled two new solutions to hide those ugly units while still providing them with enough air flow to keep them running at maximum capacity.

While these are both professional designs, the top one looks easy enough for a particularly handy person to replicate, while the lower design could be great inspiration for a professional back yard redesign.

The Best Use of A Clear Sink Ever

The Motif Basin might just be the most beautiful sink I've ever seen. With its clear glass bottom, you can see the stunning pattern not just in the basin itself, but along the counter too.

The hand-etched basin comes in three patterns, pebble, forest and kaleidoscope -all of which are stunning. The creator, OMVIVO also sells a white pedestal to go along with the design, although you could install the basin on any counter style of your choosing.

These pool-top lily pads don't just look cute, they also help warm the pool with their polyethylene film. Best of all, this natural heating solution is far, far cheaper than just about any other heating option since you just need to get a few hula hoops and some film and then use a heat source to attach together.

Enjoy Four Seasonings With These Fun Four Seasoning Shakers

Salt and pepper is great and all, but why settle for two flavors -especially when doubling your spices also means getting to spruce up your table with these delightful Four Seasons Seasoning Shakers.

Each plastic dome holds a plastic tree (or succulent) that represents a different season and you can even choose spices that accentuate the theme -by using salt in the winter dome, for example.

You can buy the set at Fancy and read more about them at Homes and Hues: Use the Four Seasons to Season Your Food

Living With Nature In South Africa

If you live somewhere as beautiful as the Eye of Africa Estate, you want to take advantage of the area's natural beauty as much as possible. That's why W design architecture set out to create a home that would enhance the experience of living in such a setting.

The home both blends in and stands out from the African scenery surrounding it with its concrete and steel materials, green roof and underground courtyard.

A Standing Desk You Can Walk Around With

Standing desks are all the rage right now, but generally speaking, they aren't exactly portable. The StorkStand changes all that -letting you carry around your desk so you can use it on the back of any chair. Just set the height position, strapping it to the chair's back and then you're ready to go.

The desk can hold up to 50 pounds and weighs a little over four pounds, so it's quite portable.

Living the Highlife is As Great As it Sounds

Here at Neatorama we love treehouses and British design firm Blue Forest's Living the Highlife is certainly no exception. This cool dwelling featues two different buildings, one for adults and one for kids.

The adult's structure features a kitchen, bathroom, living room and dining area, which makes it perfect for entertaining guests. As for the kid's area, it has a secret trap door that leads up to a gaming room and it has a zip line that leads to an assault course in the forest outside.

18 Fantastically Geeky Comforters and Duvet Covers

Do you miss the Star Wars or superhero sheets you had when you were a kiddo? While you might be a bit too grown up for those designs (and they probably don't make them big enough for your adult-sized bed), there are plenty of great geeky bed sets out there for adults these days.

Over at Homes and Hues, we rounded up some of the best nerdy designs from science, gaming, sci-fi and more so you can finally sleep in with the things you love most.

Best of all, most of these designs are a lot more chic than your standard children's bedspreads so you can show off your geek side while still showing a little style.

The Nineties Are Back In Every Way

I don't know about you guys, but I can't stand nineties fashion and seeing it come back into style makes me simultaneously feel bad for and laugh at the teens wearing it. That being said, those stupid inflatable chairs that became so popular back then still hold a special place in my heart.

And I can't be the only one, seeing as how designer Fabrice Berrix just made an inflatable version of his classic Mayflower chair. Presumably it will hold up a lot better than those cheap ones that were sold everywhere back in the nineties, but either way, the cute flower design already makes it look nicer.

Qwocktwo Is A Clock Perfect for Typography Nerds

What time is it? Time for some great design inspiration! And here it is in the form of a clever typography-based clock. The face comes in two colors -natural rust and gold leafing and the face is removable so you can even change out the battery and set the time easily.

The clock spells out the time for the viewer in plain English (and other languages too)  in a variety of fun phrases like "A Quarter Past Ten" or "It Is Five O'Clock."

The WokMon Can Make Your Stir Fry Seriously Wok

If you love stir frys, you've probably noticed that it's practically impossible to make a restaurant-quality one at home even if you have all the right ingredients and a wok. While some people claim it's the MSG (and it sometimes is), the real lacking element is the heat.

Chinese restaurants cook on incredibly high heat stoves that you can't get at home -until now. The WokMon is a great new design that can focus your stove's flames so you can get the high temperatures you need to make real Chinese dishes. Best of all, you don't even need to change out your existing stove. Just put the small piece over your burner and the large part on the grate to hold your wok for you and you're ready to go.

You can read more about the WokMon, including where to get your own over at Homes and Hues: Wok N' Roll At Home With the WokMon

This Origami House Is As Sharp As It Is Chic

Ever put a crease in the corner of a piece of paper and think? This would look awesome as a house? Well maybe you should because that's exactly what Yukio Hashimoto's F-House looks like and it is totally stunning.

The crisp exterior may be totally modern, but the interior follows many traditional Japanese design practices, making the home all too attractive for those who have a modern edge and traditional values.

Of course, even if you know nothing about Japanese design, it's still easy to appreciate the simple beauty in this great house: A Home Inspired By A Folded Over Sheet of Paper
