These Chicks ROCK!

(Video Link)

There are some things created for holidays that are totally uninteresting within days of the date passing. This metal band of baby chicks that the Download Festival put together in celebration of Easter is not one of those things. It may have been made for Easter, but these Rock Chicks are enjoyable all year round.

10 Reasons Jackie Chan Is Pretty Freaking Awesome

Jackie Chan is a great kung fu actor who is totally charming, but if you aren't a huge fan (or even if you are), this Top Tenz list might just make you love him even more. Aside from facts about his skills as a stuntman and martial artist, the list gives you a good idea of why Jackie Chan is just a good guy all around. For example, he's setting a great example by not only refusing to eat shark fin soup, but also by making others decide not to as well.

Scooter Loves the Vacuum

(Video Link)

We've seen plenty of dogs that love to be vacuumed, but Scooter proves that pooches aren't the only ones -birds also love the experience. This dirty birdie isn't shy about sharing his passion for the suction too, cooing and rubbing his face on the brush.

The Highest Rated Film Set In Each State

While an overwhelming number of movies are set in California because it's just easier for Hollywood studios to say they're filming where they're already located, there are still plenty of movies set outside the Golden State. If you've ever wondered what the highest-rated movie set in your state happens to be, you're in luck because this map does an excellent job visualizing this information.

As someone in the state of California, I am happy and a bit surprised to learn that of all the films set here, Pulp Fiction is the highest rated. So how about you guys, are you happy about your state film?

Are You Ready for Ben & Jerry's Beer?

Ben & Jerry's featured a beer-flavored ice cream in their recipe book, but now they're taking it a step further by partnering with New Belguim to create a beer that's flavored like ice cream. Specifically, their new flavor will mimick their Salted Caramel Blondie flavor and will be called Salted Caramel Brownie Brown Ale.

Of course, in yet another example of "this is why adults can't have nice things," some groups are already up in arms, claiming that the company is obviously marketing to children and showing them that beer is just one step away from children. I can't wait to hear what they say when B&J releases the marijuana-infused ice cream they're planning to sell in states where the drug has been legalized.

Making Your Bed As A Cat Owner

(Video Link)

I've said it before and I'll say it again, pets are utterly adorable, lovable jerks. As if anyone really needed further proof of that, these cats are here to emphasize that being a wonderful companion has nothing to do with making your human's life easier. In fact, if cleanliness is next to godliness, then these cats really support sinning.

In fact, in this great Zen Pencils cartoon, artist Gavin Aung Than uses a Robert Fulghum quote to remind us that mutual weirdness is the basis for some of our best relationships.

The World's Cutest Criminal

This little sea lion is a rebel without a cause and he doesn't give a damn what you think about his lifestyle. He wanted to go to high school and he did just that -walking five blocks from the beach to a school in San Diego. Unfortunately, The Man has decided that sea lions can't attend human schools, so the police soon scooped him up and detained him until animal contol officers arrived to put him in his place.

The sheriff's department reported that "while deputy sheriffs attempted to interview him as to his activities, he clammed up and requested his lawyer," the news release said.

I say sea lions are mammals and shouldn't be forced to attend fish schools just because they swim in the ocean. This little guy is a hero for his kind, fighting for his rights!

7 Iconic Musician Styles That Are Hiding Something

We all know Bono loves his giant sunglasses, but did you know he doesn't just wear them for fashion's sake? He actually needs them for his glaucoma. If you've ever wondered about Michael Jackson's glove-hand or Sinead O'Connor's shaved head? Then you won't want to miss this great Cracked article that explains the surprising reasons some musicians adopted a now trademark style.

Temporarily Banned Episodes of Popular TV Shows

With over 170 episodes, it's understandable that some fans haven't seen all the episodes of Seinfeld no matter how many times they've been syndicated since their original air date. If you've never seen "The Puerto Rican Day" though, you might have missed it due to censorship. In fact, due to complaints about negative portrayals of Puerto Ricans and a burning Puerto Rican flag, the episode was banned completely between its original air date in 1999 and 2002. Even now though, some stations who syndicate the show won't touch it.

And that Seinfeld episode is only one of 27 episodes from popular TV shows that were banned temporarily for one reason or another. Perhaps the strangest of all was the Peppa Pig episode that shows kids that spiders are our friends. It was banned in Australia because the deadly spiders there are most certainly not your friend.

Check Out The New Jurassic Park Trailer

Last July, Alex shared the gorey image of Steven Speilberg sitting beside one of his newest kills. Animal activists were rightly outraged by the killing of such a rare and beautiful creature. As if that wasn't bad enough, now one Redditor has shared these images of a poor, bound T-rex being towed down the road as though it's just a big hunk of plastic.

Will the madness ever stop?!? End dinosaur cruelty!

Pet Owners Who Know Their Pets Are Jerks

I love my little 20-pound pooch, but saying "he's a handful" is a complete understatement. In fact, I have to head to Home Depot later today to grab materials to fix my back fence that he's totally torn up. Just look at that smug face he made when I caught him blogging under my name.

And, of course, I'm not alone in having a pet that's a total jerk. This recent AskReddit thread is filled with pet parents sharing their "my pet is a dick" stories and the responses are hilarious -and they might just make you feel better about your own little devil. For example:

"On the few days i get to sleep in, if my cat decides his breakfast is too late he has learned to wake me up for it. Early on, i apparently learned to sleep through his MRROOOOOOOWs by the bedside; as time went by, i learned to roll over & ignore him when he'd bat at me with his paws...

...so he's learned to get me up the one way i can't sleep through: he'll take a single claw & drag it very gently over my eyelid. it doesn't hurt at all, but i'm hard-pressed to think of a more peculiar feeling."

Or...

"My Siberian husky has this stuffed animal that he looooves. He's real protective of it. One morning I'm laying down and he comes up to me with his toy, he drops it on my chest... Realizes I have it then proceeds to bite me for being in possession of his precious toy...that he gave me."

If you think you have stories that would put these to shame though, go ahead and share them in the comments.

The article is on Reddit, so be prepared for plenty of language that's NSFW.
