It's sad that they had to invent fantasy video retouching software because real video retouching software couldn't live up to their impossibly high standards. :D
I was in that city when I was a kid. The ice cream was very icy and crunchy. That's my main memory. If I had known about this opportunity I would have totally done it.
That's awesome. It reminds me a little of a photo I made using a completely unrelated method: I used a cheap plastic magnifying glass in lieu of a proper lens on my camera. The blurry streaks off the back sort of look the same. (that's a mannequin)
Sounds from the link like it's a pretty impractical idea. But that's just because they aren't doing it right! I will make it my life's goal to perfect this process.
Setting aside that the direction of the faces determines the direction in which hieroglyphics are read, and he has birds facing in opposite directions, I still would like more information about
1) The football helmet 2) The stick of dynamite 3) The little alien in the saucer and 4) What is that? Mickey's glove?
I kept thinking how amazed I was that he was allowed to make a big production like that. Pull out a camera on a beach around here and they'll be hassling you for permits within 5 minutes. I wonder if he had one.
