Denita TwoDragons's Comments

I dislike odd numbers, prefer symmetry, and I have to will myself not to count things. And I get squeamish around leftovers if they're more than a day old, because food poisoning scares the everloving heck out of me. And if an activity involves even the remotest chance of parasitic infection, I will avoid whatever it is like death itself.

Oh, and--I HATE stepping on cracks!

Inkedgal: I love lightnin' bugs! I used to take my son to Blanco State Park here in Texas, just so we could watch the fireflies. Who needs TV when there's better entertainment to be had at the riverside? (And it's ad-free, too!) :-)

Now that I live in a more arid part of the state, I miss my "evening show". Ah well, there's always camping trips...

Looks like I'm not the only one to instantly think of neuropathy! It gives me the screaming heebie-jeebies. Several members of my family have Type II Diabetes, and most of them suffer with loss of sensation in their limbs--or worse, that horrible pins-and-needles feeling. Just thinking about it makes my legs ache...

I *LOVE* cranberry sauce--but mine never takes the shape of its container...since I make it from scratch. I'll eat canned stuff too, but nothing beats homemade!

Rosi:Here in America, our Jello / jelly comes in a fine powder that you dissolve in hot water, then add cold water to and refrigerate. Sometimes you can find the cubed stuff in those kind of stores that specialize in international cuisine, but usually it's unflavored.

Wasabi makes me wake up even when I'm already awake! I could see this having a LOT of potential, unless the person in question was a huge wasabi-eater in the first place. Then all it would do is maybe make them dream of noshing on sashimi.

Just thinking about wasabi has me hungry for some sushi, though. *Pavlovian drool*

A nasty, smelly, environmentally unsound waste of a perfectly good instrument, all in the name of the postmodern claptrap that passes for "art".

(And I cringe when I watch Hendrix burn his guitar, too.)

My brother would totally love these, so I'll have to find some for him. He is a slobbering fan of nearly anything pickled--gherkins, dills, bread-and-butters, okra, capers, peppers, olives, etc. And when he's done, he pops a couple dozen boiled eggs into the jar of juice. He always has a steady supply of pickled goodies on hand--and if he really likes you, he'll even share them!

I miss many of the old classic Disney movies (The Black Hole still scares the bejeebus out of me!) but I never had any ambition to see Disneyland...and I care even less for the franchise as time goes on. It's reaching its nadir, and there's nothing of Walt's vision left in it anymore. So sad...
