Hi Matthew - sorry about that! It seems like we have a rogue ad on Neatorama.
At any given time, we have thousands of ads rotating through the site on the ad network, so it's hard for us to figure out which one is the rogue ad. To make matters worse, sometimes the ads are geo-targetted. So I may not necessarily see the same ads as you do. Would you be able to get a screenshot of the offending ad or at least tell me the name of the company? That would help narrow it down.
I apologize again for the inconvenience and will do our best to take down the rogue ad. In the meantime, now that you've commented, you shouldn't see _any_ banner ads on the site as long as you're logged in.
That wasn't a dig at ya at all, Ronmoses, so please don't take it that way :)
This reminds me of the famous anecdote of physicist and avowed atheist Paul Dirac (one of the "fathers of quantum mechanics"), who once railed so vehemently against religion that Wolfgang Pauli quipped, "There is no God and Diract is his Prophet."
Mom: Carpe Diem, honey!
Dad: Carpe a Job, son!
