Escatalogical Event is more appropriate then Apocalypse. An Apocalypse is an unveiling or reveling, meaning gradual not sudden. And in a biblical sense was over a course of three or so years, symbiotically or literally was not quick. But of course this is a shirt made for humor, and quick and easy is more broadly humorous.

Most of they folks I know who didn't wear helmets (in SF) tended to follow the traffic laws better the the helmeted folks. I think kids always should were helmets and those with no practice or slow reflexes. I advise everyone to learn how to fall or roll because that will help just as much as a helmet. Also get bright lights and lots of them. But I can understand wearing a helmet in SoCal where jerks in trucks almost kill other motorists and scream at bicyclist. Heck people do what you feel is the safest for you and obey the traffic laws because you are a vehicle.
Also what's the deal with against traffic riders? They are just as terrible as the absent-minded motorist.

Most of the accidents I have been involved in have scratched up my arms or chin. I learned how to fall when I have been thrown off my bike, even when sailing a few yards, I know to let go of the handle bar, wrap my arms around my face and brace for some burning pain. Of course if the cars that caused me to fly had been paying attention, you know instead of not looking when they turned or opened their doors then maybe folks wouldn't need helmets to begin with.

It is more unprofessional for a student to tweet in class then it is for a woman to breast-feed anywhere. And to top it off this was Feminist Anthropology at a Private Liberal Arts college! Were all the students dressed professionally? Did adult men wear shorts? Where there people in sweats? Professionalism is a subjective term, and chances are there might be a lecture, film or what-have-you that was going to deal with motherhood so the class got a very realistic look into the pressures of child-rearing and being a professional women.
