Also I've been to the doctors several times in the last few years (both for myself, with my wife and with our young son) and I don't remember ever having to wait for longer than about 15 minutes. Appointments are usually available the same day if my son is ill or it's something that can't wait. If it's something non vital then you are usually seen the following day. I appreciate anecdote does not = evidence but it's yet another time when an article does down our (free at the point of need) health service when it's pretty damned amazing!
e0cs0r is correct - the article is staggeringly incorrect. If the writer of it is British then she lives in a totally different Britain to the rest of us (even allowing for the passage of time).
I appreciate that it has been this way for a while now, but I wonder at which point dressing up for Halloween went from dressing as a vampire/mummy/ghost/zombie and became just general fancy dress?
A bit worried at the idea of driverless cars on the "pavements" of the UK (as the video said). Pavements is the UK equivalent of sidewalks, I think perhaps the cars should stay on the road, so they don't mow down pedestrians!
Just to clarify, I don't think anyone here is in any way angry at you for your neatorama post. Just bemused by that portion of the original article on flavorwire. I'd say that to anyone who has seen animated films, their 3D/2D mistake would be the equivalent of saying "I loved the wizard of Oz but I really wish it was in colour" or conversely "The Artist was a great film but the actors voices were terrible!" Anyone seeing a still from Toy Story (3D) and a still from Aladdin (2D) would be able to see that they are totally different in style, and the same is true of Tangled - it's very clearly in the 3D Toy Story style rather than the hand drawn 2D style. It makes me wonder if they were confusing Tangled with one of Disney's other movies.
A&E means Accident and Emergency (so I think that in the US that would be called the Emergency Room?) rather than being booked in to a specific hospital ward.

(I know it's not original, but it makes me smile)
