Wow! These bring back memories. My ex was a big fan of scents. We would shop for them together so that ours would not clash. I think the last pair was Polo and Lauren about 1983.
Hardly ever see proper corks these days in the UK. Quite rightly, the producers have gone over to screw-caps. The only drawback being the loss of cork-oak habitats.
Sorry, but I totally disagree with the morphing timeline of personalities we seem to think are cutting edge today. With the prevalence of different plastic surgery aids available to people nowadays I doubt that these 'future pictures' are realistic.

When my daughter was in her crib, our fat cat would jump in any time she cried. If she was just lonely, the cat was all she needed to go back to sleep. Maybe that's why she's so cat-crazy now.
Some cats are very good with kids. One of ours used to sit with both our babies when they were sleeping - when they stirred she'd come and find us and poke us with one claw until we came and sorted things out to her satisfaction.
Right now I start fires with the paper towels that wrap bacon in the microwave. Works very well, but not fun to handle.
