I ask because the United States set out in 1812 to drive the British from North America and claim the territories of Upper and Lower Canada. They even thought that Canadians would greet them as liberators and help them, and that the invasion, according to Thomas Jefferson, would be a "Mere matter of marching". And every Canadian schoolkid knows how THAT worked out.

Viral marketing, yes. But it's fairly well done (except for the failure to register the domain under the name "Dr Alphonsus Headshrink, Psychiatrist") and it's creepily enjoyable to suspend disbelief for a minute or two. Like a zombie movie. I know those are fake too.

Both Horton and Mikita were top hockey players. Horton went on to start his doughnut chain before getting killed in a car accident.
