Now they need a round 3: Completing the pictures, completing the album cover.

A lot of those people are cut-off.

And then!... Then you could have:Complete the room, completing the picture, completing the album cover.

Oh boy, single mom? whats the bet that she gets a nice fat government handout for having that many kids?
"Look what i can do! Now, give me monnies!"
Meanwhile those of us who act responsible and opt not to have kids, still bear the burden of other people's kids through our taxes. Money for schools, money for child healthcare, money money money...
YAY I get to pay child support for kids that aren't even mine! Thank god I don't smoke, that would piss me off even more (considering how much cigs are taxed).

Hehe That was a riot. liked the 64 reference.
Kinda reminds me of my first week with my new shiny metal DDR pad, I gained around 1.5 lbs but according to my dietician at the time, I was building muscle... which weighs more than fat so I should see the difference the week after. I was doubtful and depressed but they were right. The following week I was down by 7lbs. /flex!

Also make sure you weigh yourself at the same time every day and at the same point in your daily routine.
If you weighed yourself one week just after getting up in the morning and taking a poo, then the next week weighed yourself after getting up and eating breakfast and NOT after taking a poo, then yeah... there will be some difference of course.

I often wonder if someday, should impoverished areas get access to the internet... if things will change.
Imagine websites like Etsy, where people can make a crap-load of money for their overpriced homemade items.
$100-200 for a steampunk themed lamp made from junk parts... for example.
Now imagine being in some third world area, and having access to such a site, being able to create the same thing from junk parts, sell it for dramatically less (even with shipping) , and feed your family for a very long time.
I think globalization may be the eventual equalizer of the world. Some see that as a good thing, others bad. *shrug*

I also hate to be harsh but when we donate money and food to Third World areas of crisis and poverty, we actually increase the problem to some degree. They will then have more children, resulting in more population growth in an area that could not sustain them to begin with, and a worse crisis that needs more help.

Its a cruel truth.

Focus should be placed on population reduction to a degree that the land can sustain them (sex education, birth control, Assistance to those who participate in education programs instead of popping out more kids). When that point is reached (and yes, sadly a population decline would have to be involved) then education on agriculture and sustainablilty should be the next step.
Life is harsh, our current "feed em" band-aid solution is not working.

about the "Idots guide to releasing a bobcat"

I'm not getting why its considered "stupid"...
The cat has its foot caught in a metal foot trap. These people are being nice enough to risk themselves to release the trapped bobcat. (I'm going to hope its not their own trap.) The guy is using a shovel to try and press the release on the trap without getting too close to the cat, yes... that puts him at risk but he's trying to help the cat. Is there some other (practical) way to press the release (Other than getting your face down in there and doing it by hand) that qualifies such a statement as "idiot"? The other person came in with another shovel to help wedge apart the jaws of the trap so the cat could get its paw out.
Seems legit to me... *shrug*

*eyeroll @ Woogie* oh please, just shush.

Now on topic:
Adorable to the point that she almost looks unreal. Lemurs are so amazing, and wow what pretty eyes she has.
Only 17 in captivity? How are they doing in the wild? I thought Madagascar was doing pretty well, as far as conservation goes...no?

"I remember reading that the 1996 version of Betty Crocker was a computerized amalgam of several different races and facial traits to make a more ‘ethnic’ icon for the company because, as it turns out, white women aren’t the only ones that cook out there."

Seriously? That is so dumb. Why is it such a crime to have a white person on stuff anymore? Jeeze... the lady started out white, why change it? If anything shouldn't changing her race be more offensive than leaving it? I'm all for being PC, but some things just get taken to a stupid level.

This story would probably adapt into a movie of some sort, its so strange.
I could totally see some sort of horror movie loosely based on this. You have a town of twins... thats creepy. Add the nazi element and thats even creepier.
Village of the Damned - THE TRUE STORY. Dun dun duuun!

Wow good read, so much I wanted to comment on, the segment almost would have been better broken up into more parts. :P Of course, they were all trivial pointless comments... but still.
Morton salt: Should I be disturbed, that the little girls dress got shorter over the years and she became more barbi-tized (longer slimmer legs)?
Laughing cow: I LOVE This stuff, but its always kinda spendy for what it is.
Betty Crocker: The 1996 version is awful. The 80 version is better, but if you look at it, its a copy of 65 (with minor changes) look at the mouth. 96 looks too mousy and unassertive.

WOW... that was bad. It was a nice idea but what a horrible comedian. I got halfway through when I realized I didn't *have* to torture myself, so I stopped.

Typical of idiot parents. Blame the world for your bad parenting, or in this case blame the park for not putting padding and fence on every inch of their park, when you don't have the common sence of not letting young kids prance around a 150 ft drop off.
